Privacy Policy

We recognize the importance of your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how Marka Plugin handles your information. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy was last updated on April 24, 2025.

Who We Are

Marka Plugin is an independently operated product. We do not have employees, advertisers, or marketing partners. References to “we” or “Marka Plugin” in this policy refer solely to the individual operator of the Services.

What Data We Collect

Marka Plugin is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not collect your name, address, date of birth, or any other personally identifiable information directly through the Services.

The data we do collect includes:

Anonymised usage analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable data about how the plugin is used — such as feature interactions and error logs. This data cannot be used to identify you as an individual and is used solely to improve the Services.

UUID license keys: When you purchase a Pro license, a UUID is generated and issued to you via our payment platforms (Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy). This UUID is used solely to verify Pro access within the plugin. We do not link your UUID to your name, email, or any other personal information.

Uploaded images: If you use the image hosting feature, your images are stored on Cloudflare R2 (see Third-Party Services below). We do not inspect, analyse, or use your uploaded images for any purpose other than serving them back to you within the plugin.

What Data We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, Marka Plugin does not collect or store:

  • Your name or email address
  • Payment information or billing details
  • The content of test emails sent through the Services
  • Any data from your Figma files beyond what is necessary to render the plugin interface

How We Use Your Data

We use the limited data we collect solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the Services
  • Verify Pro license access via UUID
  • Identify and fix bugs and errors
  • Improve plugin performance and features

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond operating the Services.

Third-Party Services

Marka Plugin relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy and data practices, which we encourage you to review.

Figma: The Services operate entirely within the Figma platform. Your use of Figma is subject to Figma’s Privacy Policy (figma.com).

Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy: All purchases, subscriptions, and billing are handled by Gumroad (gumroad.com) and Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). These platforms collect and process your payment and account information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Marka Plugin does not receive or store your payment details.

Cloudflare R2: Uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare R2, a cloud storage service operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Images are stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure and are subject to Cloudflare’s privacy policy and terms of service (cloudflare.com). Marka Plugin has no control over Cloudflare’s data handling practices.

Email Service Providers (ESPs): When you send a test email through the Services, that email is transmitted directly to your chosen ESP. Marka Plugin does not store, log, or retain any email content. Your use of your ESP is governed by their own privacy policy.

Image Storage and Retention

Images you upload through the Services are stored on Cloudflare R2 for as long as the Services remain active. If Marka Plugin discontinues the Services, your images will be retained for twelve (12) months following the discontinuation date, after which they will be permanently deleted.

You may request deletion of your uploaded images at any time by contacting us by email. Requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that we cannot recover images that have already been deleted by Cloudflare under their own policies.

Data Security

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect the data associated with your use of the Services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We will comply with applicable laws in the event of a data breach.

Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request information about what data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us by email. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

The Services may contain links to external sites. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and are not responsible for them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the Services operate or to comply with legal requirements. Any updates will be posted at the same location as this policy and will take effect immediately upon publication.
